Camp Trajectory

in partnership with University of Maryland Extension 4-H, is a dynamic and immersive co-ed residential summer camp designed to inspire personal growth, teamwork, and leadership in youth ages 9–14. Set in the scenic Catoctin Mountain Park in Sabillasville, MD, this weekend experience (July 11–14) combines outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and personal development in a fun and supportive environment.

Key Focus of Camp Trajectory

Outdoor Exploration & Life Skills

Campers will engage in hiking, swimming, and nature-based adventures that promote physical activity and appreciation for the outdoors. They’ll learn essential survival skills like fire-building, first aid, and navigation. These experiences help build resilience, confidence, and a deeper connection to nature.

Creativity & Personal Growth

Through arts and crafts, music, and storytelling, campers will explore their creativity and express themselves in new ways. Daily reflections and team activities promote self-awareness, leadership, and emotional development. This focus empowers campers to recognize their unique strengths and build lasting confidence.

Community & Team Building

Campers will participate in group challenges and collaborative projects that teach the value of teamwork and shared goals. Emphasis is placed on kindness, communication, and supporting one another. By the end of camp, each camper will understand their role in building positive communities both at camp and beyond.
